Get Involved

As we look back at Christ’s earthly ministry there is something quite unique that stands out when it came to His relationship with His disciples. Have you ever noticed how Christ encouraged them to be active in their faith? He was constantly challenging them to get involved wherever they went.

At Riverside we believe there was a reason for that and that reason is GROWTH! A part of growing as leaders in the kingdom of God is our willingness to get involved with what takes place in our churches. The more that we are involved, the more we are learning, and the more we are learning the more we grow closer to Christ. Not only do we become closer to Christ, but along the way we also become closer with others in our church, which surrounds us with godly counsel and accountability to help us in our daily walk with God.

There is a great significance to serving in the church. You’re staying active, developing strong friendships, and your growing closer to God.
